release of liability

Please read this exclusion of liability when booking tickets to Dusk.

Activity participation release and waiver of liability

 

I understand this is an important legal document relating to my participation in the Squamish at Dusk event and by signing this agreement/checking the box on the ticket form and participating in the event, I agree to hold The Wilder Adventure Group Inc and any involved entities entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.

 

I have voluntarily agreed to participate in the Squamish at Dusk event. I acknowledge that this event involves risks, dangers and hazards, which could result in damage, loss, serious physical injury, or death to myself. Some of these risks, dangers and hazards include, but are not limited to:

Health and Environment, including slips, trips, falls and collisions from irregular conditions on and off trail, extreme weather conditions, dark and low light environments; electrocution if touching electrical equipment; Getting lost during the event; Negligence, breach of contract, or breach of any statutory duty of care on the part of the activity operators and their directors, officers, employees, contractors, representatives (collectively referred to as The Operators).

I acknowledge the hazards of participating in the event. I swear that I am participating voluntarily, and that all risks have been made clear to me. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity and I am physically, emotionally and mentally able to participate in this program.

 

Despite the risks, dangers and hazards I wish to participate in the Event and I hereby unconditionally release and forever discharge The Operators from any and all actions, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, claims or demands that I, my heirs, next of kin, spouse, guardians, and legal representatives now have or may hereafter have for death, disability, personal injury, property damage or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to me, resulting directly or indirectly from my participation in the Squamish at Dusk Event. 

 

I understand while participating in this activity, I may be photographed. I agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by the activity holders, producers, sponsors, organizers, and assigns.

 

By checking the box during ticket purchase, I forfeit all right to bring a suit against The Wilder Adventure Group Inc and The Operators for any reason.
